Dear SMART Academy Families,

Welcome to SMART Academy - Home of the Owls! Since opening our doors in 2018, SMART Academy has provided a safe & secure small classroom environment that promotes positive social-emotional support to all students.

​

SMART Academy was founded in the belief that our students' success is based on three pillars: School, Families and Community. Each of these three pillars is supported by our focus on a strong literacy foundation. Through our literacy-based educational program, students with a strong literacy foundation will be far more capable of securing quality employment, leading fulfilling lives, improving their communities and becoming productive citizens of society. Our staff takes the opportunity to learn the needs and strengths of each and every student to ensure success. With compassion and support, there is no limit to the success our students.

Parents and students can stay informed about all things by liking our “SMART Academy” Facebook page and keeping the office current with contact numbers and current address. We will send updates via mail and automated call to ensure that families are in the know with events and special notices.

School doors open daily at 7:45 AM and Breakfast will be served until 8:15 AM. Students will be marked tardy after 8:15 AM. If a student is late, a parent needs to come into the office to sign them in. Parents should drive around the building to drop off and pick up their children by the southwest door of the school. Students should never be left outside before 7:45 am unattended.  Walkers should enter the front door of the building at 7:45 am.  Pick up will begin at 2:45 PM and conclude at 3:00 PM. Busses will arrive to the school at 2:45 PM and load by the doors, and parents will drive around the building to pick up their children.
